The RVC National BioService Biofund portfolio company (NBS) took the second place in the national stage of the All-Russian Award in the field of international cooperation and export “Exporter of the Year” in the category “Exporter of the Year in the Service Sector” in the category “Small and Medium Enterprises”.
The award was established by the Government of the Russian Federation and is awarded annually to organizations and individual entrepreneurs who have achieved the greatest success in exporting non-primary non-energy goods, works, services, as well as results of intellectual activity. Among the criteria for evaluating the nominees are the dynamics of the development of new markets and the number of foreign customers, expansion of the export range, international awards, and prizes, participation in international exhibitions and conferences.
On November 14, 2019, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, as part of the Made in Russia International Export Forum, took part in the award ceremony for the winners of the Exporter of the Year Award, including National BioService LLC.
The business model created by the NBS is unique not only for Russia — the company combines in its work the resources of its laboratories, which guarantee the high quality and standards of the work performed, and the involvement of a partner network of medical organizations in many Russian regions, which makes it possible to carry out large-scale projects, including as part of the National Technology Initiative and the Skolkovo Technology Park. Among the main export markets for NBS services are the United Kingdom, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the USA, and Japan.
