RVC, Lomonosov Moscow State University and Chinese Construction Investment Corporation ZHUODA (ZHUODA Group) signed an agreement on cooperation. During the III Moscow International Innovation Development Forum "Open Innovations" the document was signed by Igor Agamirzyan, RVC General Director, Alexey Khokhlov, Vice-Rector and Head of Department of Innovation Policy and International Scientific Relations of Lomonosov Moscow State University, and Yan Zhanfu, ZHUODA General Director.
The agreement purpose is the development of Russian-Chinese relations in the field of innovations, technological entrepreneurship and venture capital, as well as applied research.
ZHUODA is a construction and investment corporation ranked among the ten largest construction companies in China (with market capitalization of more than 15 bln US dollars). The Corporation's interests cover such areas as development, industrial production of constructional material, development and support of large settlements infrastructure, logistics centers, hotel business. In addition, ZHUODA established a Research Institute, where the properties of new constructional material are studied for further industrial production and application for projects in the field of development.
One of the main areas of cooperation between the parties will be the search for innovation and venture projects and new technologies which are of interest to Russian and Chinese market participants. For practical implementation of the projects under the trilateral cooperation, the mechanisms will be developed to support investment and commercialization of innovations.

At the initial stage, the parties are planning to cooperate in the field of "smart home" and "smart city" technologies development. Also, new development in the field of construction automation, namely, construction robotics, powerful logistical systems, monitoring technologies of environmental and strength properties of buildings and structures are of a particular interest for the two countries. Another area which initially will be in the partners' focus is the technology for production and implementation of innovative constructional material.
"The most important condition for an effective development of modern science is the ability to have a constant dialogue with the market. The most important element of the modern dialogue is the creation of venture capital and other funds that can construe the requests of the world industry and turn them into projects that are created on the platform of universities – said Igor Agamirzyan, RVC General Director. – The cooperation with China is of a particular importance, as it can become the largest Russian partner in creation of cutting-edge products and technologies. We hope that this agreement will accelerate the establishment in Moscow of a modern technological center successfully operating at the global level."
As part of cooperation program, RVC, Moscow State University and ZHUODA intend to hold consultations and conduct analysis of practical perspectives which will become the basis for "roadmap" design for the joint activities. In order to make balanced decisions the parties to the agreement are planning to exchange all necessary marketing and analytical information on the investment and technology markets in their countries.
