On October 28, in Moscow, the "Open Innovation" Forum held a solemn ceremony of awarding the winners of V Russian National Contest of Innovation Journalism "Tech in Media", established by RVC. The contest aim is at encourage and promote activities of the journalists covering the topic of scientific development, successful examples of commercialization, as well as attracting attention of larger segment of society to the issues of technological development of Russia.
In 2015, the contest received 439 works from 39 regions of Russia. The contest's thematic finals were included in the U-Novus Forum Program in Tomsk, "Innoprom" in Yekaterinburg, Russian Scientific Festival "NAUKA 0+" in Krasnoyarsk and Moscow. In 2015, the Contest's prize fund amounted to 2.08 mln rubles.
The awards were presented to the winners by David Yang, founder and member of the Board of Directors of ABBYY, Konstantin Agladze, Russian popularizer of science, MIPT professor, Alexander Potapov, Deputy General Director - Executive Director of RVC, Dmitry Mordvintsev, Director of BIOCAD Market Development, Dan Medovnikov, Director of the Institute for Innovations Management of the Higher School of Economics.

Russian National Contest of Innovation Journalism "Tech in Media" has been held since 2011. The winners in "Technological Enterprise", "Advanced Manufacturing", "Popularization of Science", "Life Sciences" tracks are defined by an expert jury.
The operator of the contest is the Directorate of the Russian National Science Festival, "Schrödinger's Cat" popular science magazine.
