Regional sessions are interesting and necessary to the regions as, first of all, the work with companies is carried out in the field, and the federal experts are totally in the local context. Regional Practical Consulting Sessions (RPCS) represent the RVC's own format. Since 2008, more than 130 regional practical consulting sessions have been held by RVC in collaboration with its partners, and about 9,000 people have gained knowledge and practical skills. The sessions' special aspect consists in a targeted instructional work that the leading experts do with the projects, ensuring their availability for regional technology entrepreneurs.
Until December 15, 2015, the program will be implemented in 10 cities: Stavropol, Novokuznetsk, Kaliningrad, Yaroslavl, Almaty, Izhevsk, Vladivostok, Ufa, Perm, Nizhny Novgorod, regional venture capital funds and universities will be the program's partners. The program for the second half of 2015 was inaugurated with the RVC's general support, with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory and "Fund of assistance to innovative development of the Stavropol Territory" NPO in one of the key days of the Forum "Innovation Week in the Stavropol Territory".
"We decided to hold RPCS because the fast growth of small high-tech companies is extremely important to us, and to ensure the growth, creative ideas, practice and experts experience are required", as welcomed the RPCS participants Alexander Dolin, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Stavropol Territory, Head of Modernization, Economy, Innovation and Nano-technology Directorate.The key upgrade of the RPCS program consisted in a significant expansion of thematic modules and focus on working with corporate customers. In addition to the activities on preparation of the investment proposal, creation of the business value and patenting, during the second half year, the session's participants will learn about effective sales techniques and promotion of innovative projects products for corporations.
The entrepreneurs showed a great interest to the federal GenerationS accelerator and the possibility of corporate orders from large companies."This approach, when during the training, the participants are guided by specific customers, is absolutely correct and interesting", commented Andrey Arutunyan, President of "Softservice", regional IT Developer Company.
RPCS sessions were attended by representatives of investment funds and municipal customers."We have been in need for the offers elaborated for the city concerns for ages. Of course, it is correct to carry out work with the companies in our region", – evaluated the program Maxim Uvarov, First Deputy Head of Lermontov Administration in Stavropol Territory."We liked the proposed format very much and we are looking forward to meeting the program representatives in Ufa," – commented the program start Gulshat Shakirova, Executive Director of the Venture Fund of Bashkortostan Republic Government.
Ruslan Akhmetov, Director of the Investment Department, welcomed the participants on behalf of RVC.Ruslan told the participants about the opportunities provided to the fast-growing high-tech companies by RVC Portfolio Funds. Egor Rodin, Investment Director of RC InfraFond, shared with the participants his experience in support and funding of infrastructure projects. The business trainers of the program in Stavropol Territory were Alexander Loktionov, Director of LOGA Group & Seed Forum International Foundation in Russia, and business coaches of LOGA Group Company Vyacheslav Makovich, founder of the Go2up project, and Andrey Sartori, practicing investor, ex-director for technologies in "Skolkovo" Technopark.
As a result of the program, the participants got important information about the possibilities of developing their own innovative projects, collaboration with funds, Russian institutes for development and corporate order by RVC programs' partners. All participants received certificates of session attendance.
RVC program "Regional Practical Consulting Session – LOGA Group & Seed Forum International Foundation" is based on Seed Forum's fifteen years of experience in international investment.
