The Russian export center became a partner of the annual national rating of Russian fast-growing technology companies “TechUspech-2020”, organized by RVC. The agreement was signed by Mikhail Antonov, Deputy General Director — Director for development of innovation infrastructure of RVC, and Nikita Gusakov, senior Vice-President of REC.
The Russian export centre is a state export support Institute established within the structure of VEB.Of the Russian Federation as a specialized organization representing the “single window” for working with exporters in the field of financial and non-financial support measures, including through interaction with relevant ministries and agencies performing functions for the development of foreign economic activity of the Russian Federation.
The agreement provides for assistance in the process of exporting high-tech products produced by the participants of the TechUspech rating when entering foreign markets.
Within the framework of the cooperation, RVC will send to the REC information on participants who have ready products and technologies for export supplies in order to provide export support from the REC, and will conduct a survey to identify the difficulties and problems faced by companies in the process of implementing export supplies. RVC also organizes informing of the companies about the partnership and REC opportunities.
REC, in its turn, will provide the participants of the TechUspech rating with access to information on measures and tools to support exporters and will assist in the execution of the export contract and the passage of export procedures.
The agreement also provides that the REC, in accordance with its procedures, will ensure the participation of rating companies in programs to support foreign patenting, will assist in the promotion of industrial products of companies abroad and support for the compensation of part of the costs of transportation of products.
REC representatives will be included in the expert Council of the TechUspech rating.
The TechUspech rating has been formed annually since 2012 and is aimed at finding, monitoring and promoting promising fast-growing technology companies that have high leadership potential both in the Russian and global market. Private high-tech companies at least 4 years old, showing an average annual revenue growth rate of at least 10%–20% over the last 5 years, and with revenue for the last year from 100 million to 30 billion rubles, can participate in the rating. Every year, the number of participating companies is steadily growing — at the moment there are more than 550 companies in the TechUspech database. Over 75% of the rating participants successfully export their products to the markets of the USA, China, Europe and the near abroad.
