At the Global Technology Leadership Forum, the CTRP Group, one of the leading industrial groups in the Russian metallurgical complex, and the Russian Venture Company (RVC) signed an agreement to create an accelerator for innovative projects in the pipe industry.

Under the agreement, GenerationS, a platform for corporate innovation from RVC, will search for innovative projects for the industrial market, together with experts from CTRP Group, it will conduct an examination phase and prepare projects for acceleration.

Teams from all over the world with projects at the “prototype” stage and above will be able to take part in the selection. Priority areas are new products and materials of the pipe industry, technologies for the production and monitoring of pipe products, machine vision, as well as technological solutions that comply with the principles of the White Metallurgy production system.

The CTRP Group and GenerationS experts will evaluate the projects and select about 30 promising teams that will be able to present their decisions to the company's management. After the selection stage is completed, 15 projects will undergo an acceleration program, and the best of them will be able to pilot their solutions at the high-tech facilities of the CTRP Group. In the summer of 2020, projects will be announced that will receive the possibility of long-term implementation.
