Receipt of applications for participation in the ALROSA start-ups competition is complete.
265 teams from 56 cities of Russia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Germany, Canada and the USA submitted applications for participation in the selection of the technological start-ups of ALROSA company organized on the basis of GenerationS corporate accelerator by RVC. 19 projects were preliminarily selected, in case of successful expertise; they will get an opportunity of joint work over the solution and further cooperation with ALROSA.
Selected start-up offers correlate with the directions specified by ALROSA. These new solutions in the field of ore beneficiation, geological exploration, ore pre-treatment and sorting, new materials and other. Significant part of the applications are IT solutions in the field of digital technologies in industry safety and personnel training. The preliminarily selected projects have different extent of maturity — from idea stage to bulk sales.
"The interesting peculiarity of this selection is that we received applications not only from the external teams, but also from the corporation employees who suggested ideas on how to increase efficiency of the existing business processes. Experience of work with ALROSA demonstrates that the open approach to innovations implementation helps not only to find the perspective ideas, but also to become an incentive for development of the personnel reserve", Ekaterina Petrova director of Generation corporate accelerator noted.
"I would like to note the significantly grown activity and applied focus of the digital economy projects among the contest participants comparing to the previous years. I hope that in the nearest future, we will determine contest winners and continue working with the them under the signed contracts.
