"Ilim" Group resumed collection of applications for participation in the corporate accelerator GenerationS by RVC. Applications for participation in the program were submitted by more than 170 start-ups form Russia, Finland, Canada, Brasil, USA and other countries. The best projects will be invited to attend two-day face-to-face selection that will be held in Saint-Petersburg in January 2019.
The most popular directions are — development of new cellulosic material, digital solutions for business and optimization of production process — from forest management to wastes disposal and customer services.
The applicants for cooperation also include solutions in the field of new raw material sources, new packing materials and logistics. In spite of the fact that the projects at the R&D stage were invited for participation, most part of the teams has already completed research and development as well as design and experimental works.
Till the middle of January 2019, experts of "Ilim" Group and GenerationS will evaluate technical and commercial potential of the suggested solutions and determine up to 20 most perspective projects for participation in the face-to-face selection in Saint-Petersburg. The best teams will receive an opportunity to pilot all developments on the production capacities of "Ilim" Group and attract financing under "Ilim Innovation" program.
GenerationS is a federal platform for the development of corporate acceleration tools. It has been held by RVC since 2013. Today, accelerator infrastructure includes more than 14 thousand start-ups from 30 countries, 400 corporate and ecosystem partners. In 2018, GenerationS became the first Russian accelerator that was approved by the Global Accelerator Network (GAN).
