On February 17 Moscow hosted the 20th awarding ceremony in communication and public relations "Silver Archer". The winner of the RVC's nomination "Advancement of future technologies" was the company "Promobot" — the creator of the first robot promoter, the finalist of the federal startup accelerator GenerationS and a resident of Skolkovo.
The robot has attracted the attention of 100+ Russian and international media after it "escaped" from the test site. The PR-campaign covered more than 400 million people, at the end of which the team received more than 100 pre-orders, new customers and dealers abroad. Besides the "Archer", the company "Promobot" became the owner of a special prize from the nomination partner, one of the largest technology companies ABBYY.
RASA's special certificate "For professional promotion of the project" was received by the company 3D Bioprinting Solutions. The laboratory, founded by the largest private medical company in Russia INVITRO, was the first to print the thyroid gland and successfully transplant it to a laboratory mouse. In 2016, 3D Bioprinting Solutions highlighted the shortage of donor organs and conducted a campaign on the benefits of bioprinting.
RVC has been organizing the nomination "Advancement of future technologies" since 2015. Its goal is to find the best specialists, teams and practices to promote technological entrepreneurship. This year the expert council of the nomination was led by Ekaterina Khaustova, the head of the programs of the Sberbank charity fund "Contribution to the Future" and the winner of the "Silver Archer" . The board also included the vice-president, the head of the press service of the Skolkovo Foundation, Alexander Barshchevskaya, and the head of the directorate for the popularization of the RUSNANO FIEP, Sergei Filippov.
The National Award in communication and public relations "Silver Archer" was established in 1997 by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Russian Union of Journalists and RASA.
