The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation has supported the development of fundamental standards for artificial intelligence systems in clinical medicine. The initiator of their creation was the profile subcommittee called Artificial Intelligence in Health Care (ПК01 / ТК164), a member of the technical committee TK 164 Artificial Intelligence, based on the RVC.
On July 7, Ilya Kurmyshev, Director for Development of NTI Markets at RVC, spoke about programs to support high-tech companies at the session: Financing of Medium Enterprises: How Can Businesses Build Cooperation with Development Institutions, held as part of the Innoprom international industrial marathon.
On June 30, the 11th annual forum of innovative InfoSpace technologies, organized by the Initiative Center for Business Support and Development, took place. Deputy General Director - Investment Director of RVC Aleksei Basov spoke at the plenary session “Digital Leadership. Strategies, Human Resources, Technologies” with a report on the current situation in the venture capital market and on measures to support RVC for technology companies.
RVC has provided its annual report for 2019. It reveals the main results of the company's activities in developing the venture capital market, supporting the National Technology Initiative, and implementing the national program “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation”.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation together with the NTI working group updated NTI Technet’s “Roadmap” for improving legislation and removing administrative barriers. The updating of the action plan was carried out with the organizational and technical support of RVC, which is the NTI Project Office.
During 2019, subsidiaries of the Russian Venture Company (RVC), managed by the RVC Infrafund, left 28 venture projects. Total revenues from exits and remaining in the portfolio of companies exceeded 430 million rubles. Promised assets in fund portfolios rose by more than 90% over the year.
The map contains an analysis of the activities of about 400 small and medium-sized companies in the field of creating and commercializing products and services based on end-to-end technologies of the digital economy in Russia. The fastest-growing technologies were artificial intelligence, big data, robotics, and sensorics.
According to the results of a competitive selection of leading research centers (PITs) conducted by order of the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Media of Russia with expert and analytical support of RVC within the framework of the “Digital Economy of the Russian Federation” national program, the National Research University — Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology (NIU MIET) — received grant support from the government for 300 million rubles.
The Technical Committee of TC 164 “Artificial Intelligence” created on the basis of the RVC, prepared and submitted for public discussion the first edition of the Standard — “Information Technologies. Big Data. Overview and Vocabulary”. The National Center for Digital Economy of Lomonosov Moscow State University and Institute of the Information Society developed the draft standard.
