Microsoft to provide cloud-based grants to six start-ups

Microsoft has announced six projects-winners of the start-ups BootCampGenerationS, which will receive from the company cloud-based grants in the amount of $ 120 thousand, according to TASS.

The selection took place on the basis of a three-day educational technology BootCamp for Intensive instruction, conducted on the basis of GenerationS platform — the largest accelerator in Russia and Eastern Europe.

During the intense session, project teams could take part in training and workshops, as well as received mentoring and expert support. The aspiring entrepreneurs have completed the BootCamp program themselves, having presented their inventions to potential investors.

As a result of presentations, Microsoft has selected six projects which will provide cloud-based grants in the amount of $ 120 thousand.

The winners were the Optiac handheld hedge fund, grocery factory BankEx market for banks, predictive analytics service for traders — Cindicator, digital notary — BlockNotary, service to perform image complex analysis — OZPhotoExpert, and the platform to find the best loan offer from various banks — FinHub.

The start-ups will be given advisory support from Microsoft experts, and access to cloud services MicrosoftAzure.
