The KamaFlow Company became an investment partner of the GenerationS start-up accelerator from RVC — the largest in Russia and Eastern Europe. KamaFlow specializes in providing professional services to young technology projects, helping them to successfully develop and maximize business by gaining access to investment, expertise and other resources.
KamaFlow has been cooperating with GenerationS since 2014. During this time, the company has invested in several projects — the GenerationS graduates, including the BitBlaze storage data systems and the manufacturer of the Terebra augers. In 2016, KamaFlow within GenerationS is planning to support the early stage project for the amount of up to $ 100,000 and find partners for the development of portfolio projects as well as to find solutions in the field of Smart City and Retail to work with them as an integrator.
Cooperation with GenerationS becomes a good tradition of our company, and we are pleased to join one of the key events in the entire venture ecosystem of Russia. We look forward to getting acquainted with the projects, which will participate in this year's accelerator. GenerationS is traditionally a very high level of start-ups.
I am sure that among them we will be able to find no less interesting start-ups than BitBlaze and Terebra, with which we started our cooperation upon the results of accelerator programs of the previous years, said Evgeny Borisov — the partner, director for development at KamaFlow.
Searching for financial support is one of the major challenges for any early stage project in the Russian venture market. KamaFlow can provide the GenerationS teams not only with the expertise, but also with a significant amount of investment, which will be the foundation for development and maximizing the business, said Gulnara Bikkulova, Deputy General Director for RVC and ideologist of GenerationS.
In 2016, GenerationS received more than 4,000 applications from 240 cities and 30 countries. The accelerator runs on eight corporate tracks: Mining&Metals, AgroBioTech&Food, SmartCity, Сreative Industries, LifeScience, TechNet, Power&Еnergy, Finance&Banking Technologies. The participants of GenerationS will be provided with a wide range of business opportunities: access to the resources of industrial partners for developing joint solutions, personal mentors, expert sessions from leading analysts, international internships, preparation of projects for entering the market and serious help to attract investment.
The GenerationS-2016 prize fund will amount to 15 million rubles. The total value of prizes from partners will exceed 100 million rubles.
