RVC and AIRR business mission in the Republic of Korea succeeded.

For 25-30 of November, business mission in the Republic of Korea organized by RVC and AIRR was held. 17 delegates were included in mission — representatives of the development institutions and innovation territorial clusters in Russia.

At the first day of the business mission, Kim Hong-il, president of D.CAMP business incubator. D.CAMP is a Korean non-commercial fund focused on the young entrepreneurs created in 2013 in the center of Kannam in Seoul by the Fund of banks for young entrepreneurs. At the D.CAMP venue, the entrepreneurs have access to co-working, offices, lecture halls and conference halls.

On the second day, the delegation visited LS Industrial Systems company that is a leader of the market of industrial automation means in South Korea, and met with the general director of Seoul branch of KICOXVentureCenter venture center, Mr. Un. KICOXVentureCenter is a Korean corporation of industrial parks, affiliated with the Ministry of trade, industry and power energy of the Republic of Korea, manages 62 industrial complexes in the country, which share is 35.5% of production and 34.9% of Korean export. The program of this intensive day was finished with the visit to the digital media-city "Digital Media-City".

The third day was the key one in the business mission program, because the representatives were able to visit Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Korean Silicon Valley — Pangyo Techno Valley (PTV) and Samsung heavy industries the biggest shipbuilding company in the world included in the parent company Samsung.

Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) is a research and development institute working on improvement of the life quality and preparation to the future. KIST was founded as an initial research and development institute of science and technology in Korea in 1966. From that date, it plays the leading role in the national development. Many research and development institutes financed by the government were based on the KIST sample.

Pangyo Techno Valley (PTV), "Korean Silicon Valley" is a research and development innovation cluster in Pangyo with focus on information and computer technologies. Special attention is paid to development of cooperation between the successful innovation Korean companies such as SK CHEMICAL, POSCO ICT, SAMSUNG TECHWIN, LIG NEX 1, AHNLAB, NHN, and others in order to achieve global competitive ability of the country.

At the end of the business mission, the experts got acquainted with the latest innovation developments in the Korean Advanced Innovation Technology Institute (KAIST) and visited one of the biggest "smart city" projects, international economy area SongdoSmartCity.
