Future Technologies

The Russian Venture Forum has been for a long time an international platform for discussions and exchange of experience, meetings of start-ups with investors and partners. This year, 50 technological companies-applicants for participation in the accelerating program, which is being held by the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, will be represented at the exposition of the forum. Pulsar Venture Capital will act as the operator of the accelerating program.

The exposition of innovative companies in 2018 will take place in a new format in three areas: Blockchain Technology and ICO (Blockchain Tech), Media, Entertainment and Sport (MESTech - Media, Entertainment and Sport Technologies), manufacturing and industrial innovations (Industrial Tech).

The opportunities that the Forum opens for young start-ups are unique. This year, the forum will provide an opportunity for more than half a hundred start-ups to get acquainted with the participants of the venture industry market, to speak with major investors and top officials of the republic, Russian and international experts in the field of venture financing.

Business Opportunities

The submit application for exhibitors is open until March 23, 2018. The finalists of the acceleration program will receive investments up to eight million roubles from the organizers. In addition, the participants of RVF become participants of "Idea-1000" programs, so the total amount of financing in one project may reach 20 million roubles. As it was put by the founder of one of the projects which had successfully passed acceleration, Director of TryFit company Vahan Martirosyan, participation in the forum opens great opportunities at the Russian market, allows to export products to foreign markets and avoid typical mistakes.

"Young companies receive financial support and help in establishing necessary business contacts. This is especially topical for start-up companies. This is the most effective program in Tatarstan," Martirosyan said.

According to the co-founder of start-up REG.FM, Faem Ahmetzyanov, in 2017, after passing the acceleration program, the business was able to grow by 10 times in comparison to 2016.

"One of the factors of this growth was the participation in the Russian Venture Forum. We were shown how to build a job, what to offer to investors," Ahmetzyanov said.

The head of Halal Group LLC Airat Kasimov said that after the forum it was possible to build a dialogue with people which were interesting for the company’s business.

"We began to be perceived in a different way, we are known and trusted yet. All emerging issues are now much easier to solve. Of course, financial indicators are also growing," Kasimov said.

The Russian Venture Forum will be held in Kazan on April 18-19. The organizers are Russian Venture Capital Association, the Investment and Venture Fund of the Republic of Tatarstan, Russian Venture Company, and the Innovation Promotion Fund.
