Technology competitions of the National Technology Initiative are competitions of technologies and innovative products, including breakthrough technology solutions of complex scientific and technology problems, conducted to overcome technology related barriers in priority sectors and markets of the NTI, ensuring Russia's competitiveness in high-tech markets.
The winner of a technology competition receives a cash prize for creating a breakthrough solution to a significant problem after the prototype of such a solution has been built and successfully demonstrated.
In the period from 2017 to 2020, it is planned to organize six NTI technology competitions.
Creating an adequate replacement for traditional fuels; overcoming of global technology barriers in the perspective segment of hydrogen energy on fuel cells.
To develop power plants based on hydrogen fuel cells, which in their performance characteristics are not inferior to traditional types of power plants (internal combustion engines and electric accumulators).
MoreDevelopment of technologies for automatic control of uncrewed vehicles adapted to use in Russian climatic and road conditions.
To develop software and hardware (e.g., high-performance sensors, on-board computer systems, control mechanisms) to control BPTS in an autonomous mode in the winter and at different times of the day, taking into account the possible absence of road markings and low visibility of the road, with the achievement of a safety level of driving, comparable to the level of control of an average driver.
