Over 900 project management professionals from more than 70 countries will gather for three days at the 32nd world project management congress.
For several decades now, the World Congress has been a leading event in the management of projects, programs, and portfolios. In 2018, Kazakhstan became the venue; in the fall of 2019, the World Congress was held in Mexico. In 2020, leading project management experts, professionals, business representatives, practitioners, representatives of global companies, scientists, students, teachers, non-governmental organizations, the media, and others will meet in the cultural centre of Russia, in the city of St. Petersburg.
Global society is increasingly dependent on projects. Successful management over these projects has become a profession that requires the right competencies at the right time. The IPMA World Congress on Project Management is a reputable international platform and a useful tool for developing professional relations, assessing achievements, and discussing global trends in project management.
The theme of the 2020 Congress is project management in the digital transformation era.
The IPMA World Congress will include round tables, lectures, workshops, plenary meetings for project managers in public and private organizations, project office directors, professors, and teachers.
