The course “Innovation Economics and Technological Entrepreneurship” was developed by RVC in 2017 in cooperation with the St. Petersburg National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO University) and the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.
The course solves one of the most important tasks of modern engineering education, the development of natural science and technical specialties in entrepreneurial thinking among students, which is an important condition for graduates to meet the requirements of the modern labour market.
Entrepreneurial thinking is based on three qualities: initiative, creativity, and responsibility. These qualities are developed only in the framework of practice-oriented learning based on concrete cases, a high motivation of students and co-creation of teachers and students. The discipline "Innovative Economics and Technological Entrepreneurship" is planned to be introduced in leading universities and is an element of the formation of integrated innovation ecosystems, which allow students to develop practical skills and turn them into sustainable entrepreneurial competencies.
Purpose of the Course:
The objective of the course is to form a complex of theoretical knowledge and practical skills for students in the field of economics, technological entrepreneurship, and management of innovative projects.
