Federal Agency of Scientific Organizations
It’s the federal executive authority engaged in normative and legal regulation and provision of state services in the sphere of organization of activities carried out by subordinate organizations, including in the field of science, education, health and agriculture. In addition, it manages the federal property of the subordinate organizations.
It has been operating since December 2012 and consolidates National intellectual reserve of the Lomonosov Moscow State University and the Foundation for Support of Scientific and Project Activities of Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists ‘National Intellectual Development’. The company contributes to the effective implementation of innovative technologies in the Russian production. Among the objectives of the fund are establishment of close ties between science and industry, increase of prestige of Russian science and education, support of talented youth.
M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University
It’s one of the oldest and largest classical universities of Russia, one of the centres of Russian science and culture. It includes 15 research institutes, 41 faculties, over 300 chairs and 5 branches (including four in the CIS countries). The University has about 35 thousand students studying on undergraduate, specialist and master's programs, 5 thousands of postgraduates, doctoral candidates, aspirants and 10 thousand students in preparatory departments. The faculties and research centres have 4 thousand professors and lecturers, about 5 thousand of researchers.
Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT)
It’s the Russian National Research University with predominantly technical orientation. A distinctive feature of the educational process at MIPT is the ‘Phystech system’ aimed at training of scientists and engineers for work in the newest areas of applied and theoretical physics, applied mathematics.
Founded in 1987, it is a research department of the School of Economics at the University of Turku, in Turku (Turku School of Economics, University of Turku), Finland. PEI carries out researches of economic development of the countries of Baltic, Arctic region and Eastern Europe, with particular specialization in Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA)
It’s the largest University of socio-economics and humanities in Russia and Europe, 64 affiliates of the Academy are represented in 53 regions of Russia.
RANEPA is currently one of the leaders in preparation of high-level managers for Russian enterprises and organizations. Over a third of the students of the MBA program (Master of Business Administration) in the Russian Federation are the Academy students. In 2010, Forbes magazine put the InCube Business Incubator, successfully functioning at the Academy, on the 1st place in the rating of Russian university business incubators.
Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (SkolTech)
