ANO “Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects”

The autonomous non-profit organization “Agency for Strategic Initiatives to Promote New Projects” supports commercial, social and educational projects in overcoming administrative and regulatory barriers, conducting comprehensive expertise and raising funds (through financial and development institutions). A separate area is system projects to improve the investment climate, staffing industrial growth, additional education of children and ensuring a new quality of life for people with disabilities.


ANO “Agency for Technological Development”

The autonomous non-profit organization “Agency for Technological Development” was established to assist Russian enterprises in introducing world-class technological solutions in order to achieve competitiveness of domestic products.


JSC RUSNANO

RUSNANO JSC promotes the implementation of state policy for the development of nanoindustry, investing directly and through nanotechnology investment funds in financially efficient high-tech projects that ensure the development of new industries in the Russian Federation. The main areas of investment are electronics, optoelectronics and telecommunications, health and biotechnology, metallurgy and metalworking, energy, machine building and instrument making, construction and industrial materials, chemistry and petrochemistry. 100% of the shares of JSC RUSNANO is owned by the state. Thanks to the investments of RUSNANO, 95 enterprises and R&D centers have been opened in 37 regions of Russia.


Russian Direct Investment Fund

The Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) is a sovereign investment fund of the Russian Federation with a reserved capital of $ 10 billion under management. RDIF makes direct investments in leading and promising Russian companies together with world leading investors.


Russian Export Center

Russian Export Center (REC) is a state export support institute created with the support of the Government of the Russian Federation. The center is a “single window” for working with exporters in the field of financial and non-financial support measures, including interaction with relevant ministries and departments.


Skolkovo Foundation

The Skolkovo Foundation is a non-profit organization established on the initiative of the President of the Russian Federation in September 2010. The Fund aims to mobilize Russian resources in the field of modern applied research through the creation of an enabling environment for research and development in five priority areas of technological development: energy efficiency, space, biomedicine, nuclear and computer technologies. The Foundation has been entrusted with the management of the project to create the Skolkovo Innovation Center, which activities are regulated by a special law that provides participating companies with special economic conditions. An important part of the Skolkovo ecosystem is a research university – the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech), created and functioning with the support of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


The Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR)

The Association of Innovative Regions of Russia (AIRR) is an association of constituent entities of the Russian Federation formed to support and promote innovative economic, scientific, technical and educational projects. The Association was established with the support of the Ministry of Economic Development, Rusnano, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation (RANEPA) on May 10, 2010. The Association includes 14 most innovative regions: Republic of Bashkortostan, Republic of Mordovia, Republic of Tatarstan, Altai Territory, Krasnoyarsk Territory, Perm Territory, Irkutsk Region, Kaluga Region, Lipetsk Region, Novosibirsk Region, Samara Region, Tomsk Region, Tyumen Region and Ulyanovsk Region.


The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere (Innovation Promotion Foundation)

The Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises in the Scientific and Technical Sphere (Innovation Promotion Foundation) is a state non-profit organization that supports small innovative enterprises and young innovators. It implements programs aimed at creating new and developing existing high-tech companies, commercializing the results of scientific and technical activities, attracting investments in the sphere of small innovative entrepreneurship, creating new jobs. The Fund representatives work in more than 70 regions of Russia.


The Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs

The Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs was created to provide financial and non-financial support for the nanotechnology and related high-tech sectors of the economy through the formation and development of an innovation infrastructure, the creation of a market of qualified personnel and a vocational education system, as well as institutional and informational assistance to promote technological solutions and finished products to the market.


The Industry Development Fund

The Industry Development Fund was established for the modernization of Russian industry, the organization of new industries and the provision of import substitution. The Fund offers preferential conditions for co-financing projects aimed at developing new high-tech products, technical re-equipment and the creation of competitive industries based on the best available technologies.


The Internet Initiatives Development Fund

The Internet Initiatives Development Fund is a Russian venture capital fund established by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives at the suggestion of Vladimir Putin. The fund provides investments to technology companies in the early stages of development, conducts acceleration programs and participates in the development of methods for the legal regulation of the venture capital industry.


The Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT)

The Korean Institute for the Development of Technology (KIAT) is the Institute for the Development of Technological Policy under the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea. KIAT was established in 2009 in accordance with the Law on the Development of Industrial Technologies, through the merger of six public technological institutes. The development institute includes seven divisions engaged in the development of industry, materials and components, international cooperation, technology commercialization, support for regional industry and enterprises with high potential, as well as the formation of technology policy. As an authorized organization of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, KIAT promotes Korean industrial technology to the next level of development.


The Moscow Exchange Group

The Moscow Exchange Group includes the Moscow Exchange PJSC, which manages Russia’s only multi-functional exchange platform for trading stocks, bonds, derivatives, currency, money market instruments and commodities. Moscow Exchange actively promotes the development of the Russian financial market, its infrastructure, improves technologies and increases the attractiveness of its trading platforms and services for domestic and foreign investors and issuers.


The Russian Foundation for Basic Research

The purpose of the RFBR is the competitive support of fundamental research works, designed to build new relations between scientists and the state. The main objective of the Foundation is to conduct a competitive selection of the best scientific projects from among those that are presented to the Foundation by scientists on their own initiative, and the subsequent organizational and financial provision of the supported projects.

The Russian Science Foundation. The purpose of the RSF is financial and organizational support for basic research and exploratory research, the training of scientific personnel, and the development of research teams that hold leading positions in a particular field of science.


The Social Projects Support Fund

The Social Projects Support Fund was established with the aim of developing the environment of social projects and social entrepreneurship in the Russian Federation through acceleration and concessional financing.


The State Development Corporation VEB.RF (Vnesheconombank)

The State Development Corporation VEB.RF acts on the basis of the federal law on the development bank. The main task of the national development institute is to promote long-term economic development. In partnership with commercial banks, VEB.RF is engaged in financing large-scale projects aimed at developing infrastructure, industry, the social sphere, strengthening technological potential and improving the quality of life of people.


The Venture Committee of the All-China Association of Financial Assistance to the Development of Science and Technology

The Venture Committee of the All-China Association of Financial Assistance to the Development of Science and Technology is a non-profit organization and the only national venture capital entity registered by the Ministry of Civil Administration of the PRC. The task of the committee is to unite venture organizations across the country in order to improve their interaction, provide state support and promote the successful development of venture entrepreneurship in the field of high-tech industries.


VEB Innovations Fund

VEB Innovations (LLC) is a “single window” for contacting VEB Group for support of innovative projects. The priorities of VEB Innovations include the financing of projects of the National Technology Initiative, the Digital Economy of the Russian Federation program, assistance to Russian innovative companies in entering international markets. The company’s interests also include promising projects in the field of convergent technologies, quantum technologies, etc.
